Southampton Centre is currently offering Sunday
examination sessions during the school terms. If
you have entries for the Southampton Centre, please
ensure that you give at least six weeks notice.
However, you should not request specific dates as
your entries will be accommodated at the first available
opportunity. Ballet entries should be made separately
from Modern Theatre /Tap entries with separate cheques,
as they will be held on different days. Pianist
and tape operator fees are payable on the day of
the examination. National examination dates will
also be offered during the year.

Centre
Please
read the following notes carefully before submitting applications
to the London Centre:
•
Applications received after the advertised closing dates
will only be accepted if there is space available or if
a cancellation occurs. Telephone applications can not
be accepted.
•
The London Centre is designed to accommodate teachers
entering Grade and Class examinations who have a total
entry of under 31⁄2 hours. Regretfully entries of
more than this cannot be accepted.
•
Teachers may stipulate the reason for any impossible dates
on their application form if necessary. We will attempt
to allocate your examination accordingly, however, this
cannot be guaranteed. With particular reference to Fellowship
and Licentiate examinations, it is hoped that applicants
will make themselves available for all the advertised
dates.
•
All Imperial Classical Ballet Grade examinations will
be conducted using the Paul Stobart music and candidates
will be required to use the official pianist.
•
Teachers entering candidates for Tap examinations should
state clearly on the application form their preference
for a CD or Pianist when there is a choice. The London
Centre organiser will endeavour to accommodate requests
but your preference cannot be guaranteed. It is advised
that Tap Grade candidates are familiar with both the Brian
Dee Trio and Guy Dearden set syllabus CDs.
•
Please contact the Centre Examinations Administrator to
verify dates for Professional Cecchetti exams and all
National and Classical Greek exams.
•
FDI units 4 & 5 and CDE units 6 & 7: Applications
for these examinations can only be accepted if candidates
have a specific reason why they cannot be entered at the
Approved Dance Centre with which they are registered.
