Job Description
Job Title: International Examinations Administrator
Reporting to: Head of International Examinations
Status: Full-time and Permanent

Purpose:
To provide an efficient support and administrative function to the International Examinations Department. In particular providing a single point of co-ordination and administration for all examination paperwork and dispatching results, awards and certificates for all examinations outside the UK, whilst dealing with queries throughout the examination process. May also have general office reception duties.
Key Result Areas
- Provide a central point of administration for all candidate registration and letter mailing, ensuring prompt and accurate data entry.
- Provide a central point of administration for all timetable checking, processing and dispatching ensuring all SLAs are adhered to.
- Provide a central point of contact for all candidate registration queries and checking age restrictions
- Provide a central point of contact for all post-exam queries raised by Customer Services & Quality Assurance Department, as well as external members.
- Provide administrative support where required to the International team
- Maintain an effective soft and hard copy filing and archiving process, including Membership administration ensuring information is easily retrievable.
- Provide co-ordination of certificate and medal processing, dispatching and filing
- Maintain log form of departing results and certificates
- Actively investigate requests for amendment or lost certificates
- Enter and maintain Customer data on all relevant databases and systems.
- Effectively communicate with international teachers to rectify queries.
- When required, may provide a reception service for ISTD HQ – taking all incoming telephone calls, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and greeting visitors in order to provide a favourable impression of the business.

Dimensions
Office based role providing key operational support to all areas of International team. Providing administrative support and point of contact for teachers and examiners who contact the team for day to day issues related to examination tours and scheduling. Terms
and Conditions
Hours of work: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and working outside of these hours may be required on occasion.
Holiday: 20 days per annum
If applicable, candidates must be able to provide proof of a work permit at interview and must be willing to undertake a Criminal Records Bureau check on appointment.

1st interview: Monday 15th February 2010 which will consist of a competency based interview and possibly some testing.
