long have you been a professional dancer?

Where
did you do your training and from what age?
With
Frank and Peggy Spencer MBE from age 9 to 16 years. Then to
professional exams with Monica and Michael Needham and finally
with Elizabeth Romain. Studied for competitive work with Bill
Irvine MBE and later Banny Tolymer, and additionally with
Sonny Binnick, Anthony Hurley and Nina Hunt.
What
is you favourite food?
Anything
sweet (but don’t tell)
What
is your favourite music?
Jazz
and Steel bands (when on holiday)
What
advice would you give youngsters who would like to become
professional dancers one day?
Work
hard with the teachers/coaches you believe in the most - enjoy
the journey and don’t expect overnight success!
Do
you exercise and if so, how often?
Teaching
is my exercise, but I do have an exercise bike and gym ball,
which my daughter bought me for Christmas.
Hobbies?
No
time for hobbies, but do enjoy planning our holidays each
year!
