and soon forget what the initials actually stand for?
The
following are some sample acronyms and what they mean:
APL:
Accredited Prior Learning
CPD: Continuous Professional Development
CDE: Certificate in Dance Education
QCA: Qualifications and Curriculum Authority
FDI: Foundation in Dance Instruction
LOD: Line of Dance
DFR: Disco, Freestyle, Rock’n’Roll
ISTD: Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing
