Miss
Linda Pilkington
Holder
of the Enrico Cecchetti Diploma, Linda received her
early training with Rita Emmerson. She was a Cecchetti
Scholar for five years before joining the Royal Ballet
Upper School.
For
many years she has held parallel careers, not only as
a teacher of Classical Ballet and a Major Examiner for
the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (Cecchetti
Society Classical Ballet Faculty), but also as Course
Tutor for the Benesh Institute's Professional Dance
Notator's Course, a position she retired from in 1999.
Since
being appointed a Committee Member in 1993, she has
been a member of the Faculty Link Committee and Senior
International Organiser for overseas examinations. She
is currently Chairman of the Cecchetti Society Classical
Ballet Faculty.
