Mary Stassinopoulos
Mary
Stassinopoulos received her early training in Athens,
Greece and then in Geneva, Switzerland, where she danced
at the Geneva Opera Theatre and studied Child Psychology.
In London she studied the Cecchetti Method with Laura
Wilson.
She
served as member of the Cecchetti Society Faculty Committee
from 1990 to 1999. During this time she acted as regional
co-ordinator and was a member of the sub-committee for
children's work.
Mary
is an examiner and holds the Enrico Cecchetti Diploma
as well as Advanced National.
She
is currently Director and teacher at the Vacani School
of Dancing and adjudicates the Vacani Award at the Mabel
Ryan Competition in London and at the Area Awards.
