Victoria Chappell
Initial
dance training was at the Arts Educational School, Tring,
and then at the London College of Dance & Drama.
Currently
senior lecturer in Dance at Middlesex University, accreditation
panel member for the CDET, module tutor for distance
learning course in Classical Ballet Studies and Assessor
for Trinity College London for the Dance and Drama Award
Scheme.
Served
on various sub committees for the Cecchetti Faculty
including examiners training, major teaching qualifications,
the revision to the Elementary and Intermediate syllabi.
Together with members of the other Faculties of the
ISTD, Victoria has been jointly responsible for writing
documentation for the Cecchetti Faculty for QCA accreditation.
Artistic Director for both the Elementary and Intermediate
videos and involved with the making of the Intermediate
CD, executing the voice over. Examines at all levels
for the Faculty internationally and guest teaches when
university commitments allow.
Recently
graduated from the University of Durham with a First
Class Bachelor of Philosophy Degree (Hons) in Ballet
and Contextual Studies.
