Lower Junior Mabel Ryan Award

The Lower Junior Award was divided into two groups this year; which resulted in a record-breaking number of entries!
Cecchetti trained pupils aged 7–9 (inclusive) and aged 10–12 (inclusive) had been beautifully prepared by their teachers and were extremely well organised by members of the group led by Judith Wilson.
Sarah Wells presented the work on stage in a calm and friendly manner enabling the children to dance to the very best of their ability. Liz Hewson expertly accompanied the dancers, treating everybody to a delightful selection of music.
The Award was adjudicated by Lucille Briance, Founder and Artistic Director of London Children's Ballet, who gave the young performers encouragement and advice in a clear and helpful manner, making all thecompetitors feel noticed and special.
Congratulations to everyone involved in achieving a very enjoyable day.
