| Cecchetti
Grades Course
On
a beautiful May Sunday morning twenty-two teachers and students
gathered in Mannings Heath village hall, Sussex, to be taught
the new changes to the Cecchetti Grades.
The session was taken by Linda Pilkington who covered first
the barre exercises and then the changes and additions to
the centre work. Throughout the morning Linda explained the
work and the reasons for the changes and additions with great
clarity, accompanied by the wonderful playing of Liz Hewson.
The
morning concluded with a question and answer session during
which Linda reassured and encouraged the group about the new
system for qualifications.
The
morning flew past and was most informative and enjoyable.
