Gala Stars Announced!
With
just over a week to go until the ISTD Centenary Gala at Sadler’s
Wells, we are pleased to announce the star acts!
The
ISTD Centenary Gala, 100 Years of Dance, ambitiously
showcases the many forms of dance that have entertained audiences
throughout the last century, from Ballroom to Breakdancing.
This unique performance offers dance lovers a chance to see
them all on stage for one night only.

Amongst
the many performers appearing on stage will be Lesley
Garrett CBE, internationally renowned soprano and dance
enthusiast following her participation in the hit BBC
programme ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Joining
Lesley will be her partner from the show, award winning
professional Ballroom dancer, Anton du Beke. |

The
Gala will also feature Wayne Sleep OBE, Bonnie Langford, Alexandra
Jay, David Barrett and a host of leading dance artists and
companies, plus stars from The Royal Ballet including Ricardo
Cervera, Francesca Filpi and Vanessa Palmer. Joining them
on stage will be some of the most talented young dancers from
the UK’s leading Vocational Dance Colleges and ISTD
Dance Schools.
By
early next week the Gala Production Team (Sue Passmore - Gala
Producer, Chris Baldock - Gala Director and Richard Marcel
- Dance Sport Consultant) will release the full running order,
which will appear on this page. So come back soon!
The
Gala will be held at Sadler’s Wells, London, on Sunday
26th September at 7.00pm.
