Student Residential Summer School

18th – 24th August 2012 – University of Chichester

The ISTD is offering an exciting chance for you to attend a Vocational level summer school taught by members of the profession in a variety of genres as well as Imperial Classical Ballet tutors who will focus on training at a vocational level.  

Held from 18th to 24th August this fantastic course will be held at the University of Chichester. The venue offers excellent studio facilities along with en-suite and shared rooms all located on one private campus.

The course is for those working towards their Intermediate Foundation to Advanced 2 in Imperial Classical Ballet and will offer classes that will compliment the Imperial Classical Ballet training such as Repertoire and Pas de Deux.

Of course it’s not all Ballet, other classes will include Hip Hop, Jazz, Pilates and Contemporary!

There is a minimum age of 12 years old and students should have (at least) obtained their Grade 5 and be working towards at least their Grade 6 or Intermediate Foundation (through any of the Ofqual Accredited Awarding Bodies).

The timetable for this week long course is currently being developed, the students will categorised based on their examination standard and will spend the week improving their dance practise.
