Tutor Training Courses

If you are an Approved Tutor in an Approved Dance Centre or a Distance Learning Tutor then Tutor Training is for you!

Tutor Training is for tutors within Approved Dance Centres and Distance Learning Tutors who wish to become approved in order to tutor the specific units of the Diploma in Dance Instruction (DDI) and Diploma in Dance Education (DDE).

Whether you are yet to attend the relevant course or you wish to refresh your knowledge, there is a course option to suit you.

For the generic teaching practice units (DDI Unit 1 and DDE Unit 1 and 2) there is a two-day training programme for new tutors or those wishing to refresh their knowledge.

In 2013, we will continue to offer training for tutors on the contextual studies of the teaching qualifications. The courses cover the DDI Promotion of Health and Safety in Dance and DDE Lifespan Development and Learning units.  There will also be courses for tutors on the Contextual Study of Dance unit.
