CPD Courses

The ISTD has been offering one day courses delivered by key researchers and specialists in the industry for a number of years. Known under the name of APL refreshers, these courses were not only relevant to all members whose APL outcome required their attendance, but also to dance teachers wishing to develop their knowledge. 

As part of the developing support structures for members, these courses have now been rebranded to form part of a wider continuing professional development programme that will offer a greater range of subjects for all members from student teachers to those members who have obtained their Fellowship. 

New courses that have been added to the portfolio so far are ‘First Aid at Work for Dance Teachers and Marketing your Business’. For further information contact the Education & Training Department.
