The BA Honours in Professional Practice
Do you feel you want to learn more, but still want to work?
Have you got the Diploma in Dance Education (or any other ISTD teaching qualifications)? Then the BA Honours in Professional Practice (Arts) may be for you!
If you have already completed your initial dance teacher training, or if you are a professional dancer looking for a career change, invest in your professional development through the ISTD’s advanced dance teacher training programme.
- With a recognised dance teaching qualification from the ISTD, you can open your horizons to a much wider range of opportunities across the private and public sectors.
- It is important to invest in, and be passionate about, your own continuing professional development.
- It should improve your employability.
- It will allow you to grow both professionally and personally.
Through the ISTD’s partnership with Middlesex University, ISTD trained dancers and teachers have the possibility to progress onto two Middlesex University degrees, the BA Honours in Professional Practice (Arts) (BAPP) and the MA in Professional Practice: Dance Technique Pedagogy.
Middlesex University is currently recruiting new students onto its programmes, so now is the time to think about what you might want to do. Courses for the BAPP (Arts) start at the end of September, but also again in January 2014, so it’s not too late to apply now.
