Dear Colleagues
On behalf of the DFR Faculty Committee, the Chairman, Mrs Yvonne Taylor-Hill
and the Vice-Chairman, Miss Betty Bouston would like to thank you for
your understanding over the cancellation of our Congress on 17th September
2000 due to the fuel crisis. We apologise for the disappointment caused.
However, every
effort has been made to re-schedule this very important and normally well
supported event and we can now confirm that the new date is Sunday
4th February 2001 at The Dacorum Pavilion, Hemel Hempstead. At the
time of going to press the programme is uncertain but please continue
to visit this web site or contact the Faculty Secretary, Patsy Graham
for the latest information.
We are sure that
the new date will enable us to present a full range of lectures to our
customary large audience. We look forward to meeting you then.

big Thank you!
Yvonne Taylor-Hill
would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes, lovely cards and beautiful
flowers. They were a great source of comfort and cheer during her stay
in hospital and also recovery at home. These expressions of concern were
quite overwhelming and will provide much support and strength for the
future.

Freestyle LineDance Video 2000-2001
The new video and
notes are now available direct from ISTD Headquarters £18.50 including
postage and packing. Contct the sales
department.
The twelve Dance
Routines are choreographed by members of the DFR Faculty Committee. These
routines will provide you with wonderful material for class and examination
work from the Under 8 Test through to Gold Star and Awards as well as
being a very exciting competition event. Please note that for Area Medallist
Competition purposes, the video is valid from November 2000.
