Age limits for Candidate Eligibility
For the March 2010 Awards the age limits for candidates will be taken from 1st September 2009
• Grade 3 Award, Under 13yrs
• Grade 4 Award, Under 14yrs
• Grade 5 Award, Under 15yrs
• Grade6/Inter Foundation, Under 16yrs
• Intermediate, 13yrs and under 18yrs
• Stella Mann Bursary, 15yrs and under 18yrs
Choreographic Competition
There will be one Choreographic Competition and this will be open to candidates who have passed Grade 5 or Grade 6/Inter Foundation with at least 70 marks or Intermediate with at least 65 marks. Choreographic Award Candidates need not also be taking part in the Ballet Awards
Choreography must be presented with two or more dancers (not solos) and based on a Classical Foundation. Jazz and Modern Theatre arrangements will not be acceptable.
Monetary Awards will be given towards further training from Grade 3 to Intermediate level. Awards for participation in Scholars Classes and Summer Schools may be given
The Stella Mann Bursary competition will also take place during this weekend
The Set Dances for the Awards will be taken from the Children’s

• Grade 3 Variation C - Waltz for Girls and Boys (Track 15)
• Grade 4 Variation C for Girls and Boys (Track 19)
• Grade 5 Variation C for Girls and Boys (Track 23)
• Grade 6 Variation C for Girls and Boys (Track 27)
