New
music for Imperial Ballet Grade Examinations.
New music for the Imperial Ballet Grade syllabus has
been commissioned from Paul Stobart by the Imperial
Ballet Faculty Committee. Paul Stobart is a highly respected
pianist for the Royal Ballet Company.
In addition to music for the set exercises and enchainements
there are many pieces given for free enchainements in
all areas of the syllabus.
It is hoped that the music will be available to teachers,
both on CD and printed sheet music, in the Summer, ready
for use in examinations in the Autumn term.
The Faculty is planning to hold courses for pianist
and teachers, starting in the Autumn, and the new music
will be used at the teachers’ courses held during
the Summer in London and Chichester.
