Teaching Young Children – a three day course – August 3rd, 4th and 5th
Come and take part in an intensive course that will focus on the teaching of young children. The teaching of pre-school children and the General Graded work and Standards from Pre Primary to Grade 2 will be covered. You will be able to observe mock examinations as well as gain great insight into training methods to help your young dancers enjoy their dancing as well as improve their work.
Teaching the Higher Grades – a three day course – August 4th, 5th and 6th
This course will focus on the General Graded work from Grades 3 to 6. The set work will be covered and the course will include training methods and give guidance concerning developing the unset work and musicality in your students. Examination preparation will also be included and you will also be able to observe mock examinations.
Set Dances – August 3rd
Refresh the dances or learn different ones. A selection of set dances for Grades 3 to 6 will be taught.
Set Dances – August 6th
Refresh the dances or learn different ones. A selection of set dances for Primary to Grade 2 will be taught.
