is a picture of Francesca Filpi presenting Laurretta
Summerscales with the Scholarship to the Wells Summer
School. Laurretta was also the winner of the Stella
Mann Bursary, winning the award of £1000.
The adjudicators for this award were Marianela Nunez
- Principal dancer with the Royal Ballet Company and
Thiago Soares - First Soloist with the Royal Ballet
Company.
Laurretta also won the Intermediate Award where the
adjudicators were Tamara Rojo - Principal with the Royal
Ballet Company and José Martin - First Solist
with the Royal Ballet Company.
Laurretta, age 15, is a pupil of the Karen Clarke Theatre
School, Surrey.
