Dear Mrs Mollie Webb
I am turning to you because you are the only person
I have been in contact with personally at the ISTD when
I visited Headquarters in the year 2000 and you helped
me with my research.
I
feel I must tell someone how much I miss Elizabeth Romain.
I have recently got the Spring 2007 issue of DANCE and
read that Elizabeth passed away in January. She was
my teacher in the 1980s and we used to send Christmas
cards to each other every year since then. I understand
that she must have had lots of contacts all over the
world. At Christmas 2005 she wrote that she was very
immobile but that she had some wonderful friends who
helped her with shopping and that she used to play cards
with friends.
This
last Christmas I did not receive any card so I got a
little worried. Elizabeth was the most positive, gentle
and generous person I have ever met. I loved her so
much, so much. And, I understand that you will all miss
her very much.
Yours Sincerely,
Kerstin Katz
