Many years ago, on hearing his excellent Primary Modern exam result a small boy thought for a moment and then said, “Oh! Does that make me the Honourable Peter Hadfield now?"
Annie Herring, who is now 12, used to call the Polka step “the Ponka step”. Her teacher would humour her and the whole class would do the ‘Ponka’ just for Annie. Evidently they still dance the ‘Ponka’ in the Herring household!
