Sunday 26th September 2004

A gala celebrating the history of the Society is to be staged at the Sadler's Wells Theatre in London on Sunday 26th September 2004. At this early stage, acts have yet to be confirmed, but we can guarantee it will be an evening not to be missed. More details in subsequent issues of DANCE.

Gala Choreographic Competition

Sunday 29th February 2004

Non vocational colleges and dancing schools, who train students through ISTD Theatre Faculty examinations, are invited to enter a short dance piece in the Gala Choreographic Competition, to be held at the Lillian Baylis Theatre, London on Sunday 29th February 2004. A panel of independent judges will select the winning entries, and the prize is the opportunity to perform at the Centenary Gala. Entrants will be asked to keep their piece to no more than 4 minutes and ensure that the theme of their entries relates to a style of dance synonymous with a particular decade. Entry details will be available from the 1st November 2003. Please send an SAE to Margeret Ward at the following address: 26 Hallow Lane Lower Broadheath Worcester Worchestershire WR2 6QL
