Strictly Come Dancing at ISTD2!

If you followed the hit BBC series Strictly Come Dancing you may have caught a glimpse of our very own ISTD2 Dance Studios, as we have been pleased to host Karen Hardy and Mark Ramprakash during their rehearsals each week before the live show.

Karen specialises in Latin American Dance. She has a string of championship titles under her belt (including UK Open Professional Latin Champion 1997/8 and International Open Professional Latin Champion 1998), making her highly qualified to be tutoring Surrey cricket captain Mark Ramprakash.

Mark is following in the footsteps of fellow cricketer Darren Gough who, with partner Lilia Kopylova, won the 2005 Series of the show. Ramprakash was signed as a professional cricketer at the age of 17 and has since played for England, Middlesex and Surrey. In 2006 he achieved a career-best score of 301 not out against Northamptonshire.
