The
Return of Australia and Taiwan
We
are delighted to announce that all operations in Australia
and Taiwan will return to ISTD Headquarters from 1st
January 2007.
The
region has been managed by Kenneth Norman of the ISTDSPR
who was at the forefront of ensuring that the work
of the ISTD was introduced to Australia 20 years ago.
We are very grateful to Kenneth for his contribution
and to all of those people who have supported him
during that time.
The world is now a far smaller place and our HQ in
London can now deal directly with many of our members
across the globe. By this means, we feel we are able
to give a much more efficient and personal service.
We look forward to a very positive future for members
in Australia and Taiwan.
Change
to International Examinations Areas
There are several important changes regarding examinations
in Ireland, Mexico and Spain that I wish to convey
to all members.
Rocío
Rodríguez-Fernández, who has been International
Assistant and Organiser for Ireland since December
2005, will be taking a new role as from January 2007.
She will no longer be the International Assistant
and whilst continuing to organise examinations in
Ireland, she will now take on the organisation of
examinations in Spain and Mexico, utilising her skills
as a Spanish native. Please see her new contact details

I wish to convey a huge thank you to Gail Clifford,
who has been arranging the examinations in Mexico
for several years. Rocío introduces herself
below.

Profesores,
Mi nombre es Rocío y como muchos de ustedes
saben, hace ya un año que pasé a formar
parte del equipo de ISTD como Asistente de la Directora
del Departamento Internacional y Organizadora Nacional
para Irlanda.
El nuevo reto de organizar también los exámenes
en España y México supone para mí
una enorme ilusión, ya que confío que
el empleo de mi lengua nativa pueda resultarles útil
y facilitarles determinados procesos del ISTD.
Me gustaría aprovechar esta ocasión
para agradecer a Gail Clifford la labor desempeñada
durante todos estos años como Organizadora
Nacional de México.
