The ISTD is keen to promote ISTD teachers across the globe, as we realise the success of our teachers is paramount in ensuring the long-term growth of the Society. We hope you see this website as a tangible benefit of being a member of the Society. The new website will allow anyone, such as student, parent or enthusiastic beginner, to find you and contact you about your services.

In order for this website to be an effective promotional tool for our teachers we need as many of you to sign up as possible. So if you have been thinking about joining the website but haven’t got round to it yet please do sign up – the registration process is simple and clearly laid out, and you could soon be reaching a whole new market.

The more teachers who sign up the more effective and impressive the website will be. Not just for those who are looking for a teacher but also to other interested parties such as the media.

We are currently actively promoting the website outside of the membership, through the dance press and other outlets.

All you need to do is visit www.dance-teachers.org and follow the registration prompts. This is a straightforward process and then all we have to do is ensure that the membership details we hold for you are correct.

We will verify that you hold an ISTD teaching qualification and you will have the opportunity to ensure that your contact details are correct before your entry is visible to others. If there is any information that needs checking we will contact you so that your information only goes live once it is correct.

Future Plans
The website also features a section dedicated to our Approved Dance Centres. We hope to use the site as a means by which information pertaining to the ADCs can also be easily shared.
