Minor Revisions to Grades

18 December 2012

The revisions will be optional from January 2013 and compulsory from September 2013.

The set warm-up sequences will no longer be required. Instead, the candidates will dance individual steps to the current ‘warm-up’ music on the Grade CDs. The children may choose to either relax the arms by their sides, place hands on the waist or hold skirts.

The number of steps across the room will be determined by the size of the studio and should be set by the teacher prior to the examination. The performance of the steps will be taken into consideration in the marking.
