Mrs Pamela Eddleston
Pamela Eddleston is a Fellow of the ISTD Modern Theatre, Tap and Imperial Classical Ballet Faculties and has served on the Modern Faculty Committee since 1996.
Early training was with Mollie Mayhew and Grandison College before dancing professionally for several years.
Her teaching experience spans the globe, initially in England for the Kilburn School of Dancing and in Blackpool where she ran her own schools. Later she immigrated to Canada and continued to introduce the work of ISTD in addition to teaching dance at the University of Western Ontario.
An invitation to develop ISTD syllabus in Australia took her to Sydney for 7 years where she headed the dance stream of McDonald College. She became involved in the development of the Dance Syllabus for the Higher School Certificate in New South Wales and was appointed a senior marker.
For the past 28 years Pamela has travelled extensively examining and lecturing for the ISTD; she has introduced the new Modern and Tap syllabi to many countries and writes of her experiences regularly in Dance magazine
Her book Zelia Raye and the Development of Modern Theatre Dance is available from the ISTD sales department.
Pamela is also a qualified Pilates instructor, Reflexologist and Holistic Massage Therapist.
