Ms Mary Cooke
After three years successful study for an LRAD Mary began her teaching career at Bush Davies School, East Grinstead, where she taught for nine years. She then returned to the Eastbourne Academy of Dance, as Principal, before her husband’s job relocated the family to Yorkshire. Here she continued to train students at Leeds Dance College in the ISTD syllabi. She also built up a school for local children and began to teach Pilates and fitness classes to adults. She has recently retired from the school but continues her adult classes along with freelance teaching and examining. She is especially committed in supporting Yorkshire teachers and in the promotion and development of the ISTD work in her area.
