Miss
Tracey Lee
Tracey
trained at the Gillian Farr School of Dance in Corringham,
Essex and Doreen Bird College of Dance and Theatre Performance,
during which time she gained the Doreen Bird College
Diploma. She holds Associate status in Ballet and National
and Fellowship in Modern and Tap.
She
has taught at the Angela Allport Schools, Christina
Ballard School of Dance and Bird College, where she
was the Senior Technique Studies teacher. She is currently
Head of Jazz and Tap Dance at the College.
She
took part in a six month tour of Eastern Europe and
was a dancer and choreographer for a small touring company
in the early 80's. She has also choreographed 20 works
for various Bird College related performances plus other
corporate events.
Tracey was a member of the Modern Theatre Faculty Development
Group, creating new syllabus work. A Major examiner
for the ISTD, Tracey has also lectured on many Summer
and Easter courses.
She
is currently embarking upon a Certificate of Education
at Bird College.
Tracey
has recently been involved in creating the new syllabi
for the Bronze, Silver and Gold Tap Awards. This work
was presented at the Tap Fest Day at Cecil Sharp House
in February 2003. As a member of the Tap Team she will
be delivering the new work via Area Courses throughout
the UK.
