Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre has announced Ailey All Access - Watch full lengh performances, for a limited time only.

Andrew Lloyd Webber in in partnership with Universal, will offer free broadcasts of the greatest Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals, including such megahits as ‘Cats’ and ‘The Phantom of the Opera’. Head to The Shows Must Go On! YouTube Channel to watch.

DanceXchange announce a new series of online DXTRA classes. Join DX tutors at home for an exclusive series of FREE 30-min beginner/open level online classes via Instagram Live. Classes will be available for 24 hours after the class for participants to enjoy in their own time.

Dance Umbrella is London’s international dance festival, celebrating 21st century choreography across the capital. Whilst the festival will not go ahead check out their website for classes and more.

Dancing Alone Together is a new project which aims to be a central resource for the dance world during this time of social distancing. Collecting information about various types of online opportunities making them easily acessible. National Theatre at Home - Tune in to the National Theatre YouTube Channel every Thursday at 7pm UK time for some of the best British theatre, free to stream for a week.

New Adventures announce #REELAdventures, a new online Digital Programme - find out more via their Instagram account, or sign up to their mailing list. New Adventures also have resource packs available relating to professional work to support study at Key Stage 4 and 5. Learn more via their website.

Northern Ballet announce their Pay As You Feel Digital Season. A number of performances will be available to watch online. See whats on and make a donation.


One Dance UK have produced a PDF document outlining Resources to support remote dance teaching. They have also created a digital Dance Events Calendar! See whats coming up.

Operation: Tap is an online forum for dancers, artists, students, teachers, choreographers and or enthusiasts of tap dancing. Learn more online.

Oti Mabuse is best known as a professional dancer on BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing, she is also a dance captain on The Greatest Dancer and a Patron of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She is running daily dance classes for children (and adults) on her Instagram page and YouTube Channel.

Sadlers Wells announces their Digital Stage "a programme of full-length dance performances and workshops online, to keep you entertained and connected through dance,  wherever you are in the world..." The programme launched on 27/03/20 with an exclusive online screening of Deluxe by BalletBoyz. Watch the most recent work via Sadler's Wells Facebook page available for 7 days after premiere date. Sadler’s Wells is also expanding ‘Take Part’, its series of projects available to the wider community, by presenting a series of online workshops and activities for audiences to dance along to in their own homes.

South East Dance have previously hosted Q&A sessions to help those who applied for the Arts Council England’s emergency funding package. See more details online.

Stopgap Dance Company have created a created a Facebook Group especially for live streaming their professional classes. Open to all this is a great resource for those looking for inclusive dance classes during isolation / social distancing. The company has also set up a group for their youth company - click here for more. Stopgap is also planning to release three pieces of dance work for film, which are currently in their archives. Swindon Dance (A Society Approved Dance Center) has uploaded a variety of Yoga for Dancers videos on their YouTube Channel.


The Place in London may be closed but you can still take class with them via the venue's YouTube Channel. Great for brushing up pn some Contemporary Technique.

The Space helps artists and organisations make great art and reach new audiences digitally. They commission projects, develop skills and find audiences. Learn more.
