Mandatory training for all new approved ISTD tutors of the DDI and DDE who propose to teach DDI unit 1, and DDE Units 1 & 2. All Tutors are approved to tutor the DDI and DDE units and must attend both training days in order to receive their tutor number and assess any learners.
The purpose of this training is to ensure Tutors have a full understanding of ‘generic teaching’ and know what is required of the learners for these units. The course also includes guidance on the portfolio and entry paperwork. This course is lectured by Jill Knight.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE
Only experienced tutors who have previously attended the full 2-day programme may book as a single-day delegate. If you have not attended Generic Teaching Skills Tutor Training before, then it is required to attend both days in order to become approved to tutor the units.
