Cecchetti Classical Ballet - Scholars Auditions 2021

The Cecchetti Classical Ballet Scholarship Scheme is very generously supported by the Cecchetti Society Trust, and offers talented young dancers outstanding training and performance opportunities. 

This exceptional training programme includes weekly classes in:

• Classical Ballet
• Body Conditioning
• Limbering
• Pointe Work
• Performance Skills
• Repertoire

and is designed to complement the student’s regular classes. Please note that under normal circumstances, classes will take place face-to-face in London.

Auditions to be accepted onto the Scholarship Scheme are fast approaching, with the first stage taking place online. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to further your training.

Preliminary Auditions

will be held online via Zoom between 13:30 - 17:30 (BST)

Saturday 22 May 2021

If successful at the preliminary audition, candidates will be invited to a final audition.

Final Auditions

Given the uncertainty with regard to COVID-19 restrictions, details will be confirmed nearer the time.

Acceptance to the Scholarship Scheme is by audition only. 

Male and Female students must be aged between 11 and 17 years on 1 September 2021.

Candidates must be a pupil of a member of the Society and must be receiving his/her ballet training mainly in the Cecchetti Method.

Candidates must have passed Grade 4 or Standard 5 in any method. Please note that students who were due to take their Grade 4 or Standard 5 exam but unable to do so because of the Pandemic restrictions (such as lockdown) are welcome to apply.

Candidates who attend an audition will be expected to accept a Scholarship if it is awarded.
