Adam trained at the Jean Winkler School of Dance, Arts Educational School and The Royal Ballet School. He joined The Royal Ballet in 1989 and became Principal Dancer in 1994. Since 1997, Adam has been a freelance artist performing and choreographing all over the world. Adam has danced principal roles in all the major classical ballets from Swan Lake and Don Quixote and he created roles in many ballets, including Winter Dreams (MacMillan), Firstext (Forsythe), Tombeaux (Bintley) and White Water (Tuckett).
