Dancesport Worthing Congress 2013
The ISTD offers a myriad of courses for members and non-members to support their professional development. These range from genre specific refresher days to residential summer schools to one day courses focussing on the promotion of safe dance practice and the psychological aspects of talent development.
The Education & Training Department also offer training for Tutors working on the accredited teaching qualifications programme as well as masterclasses for students, dancers, in conjunction with faculties, and training for members of the public to introduce them to the world of dance. A weekend of workshops, demonstrations, evening dance and the Phyllis Haylor Scholarship (21 July).
Join us once more for a weekend packed with information, participation and fun! Saturday evening will also include the ISTD Summer Dance, with a Ballroom/Latin demonstration by Richard Still & Morgan Hemphill.

A combined day ticket for your students will cost them £25.00, but you will pay the ISTD £22.50 (giving you a £2.50 commission). On top of this, if you buy 10 dance tickets or a combination of 10 dance tickets and the afternoon Saturday session, you will receive a free dance ticket for Saturday night as well as your commission on a joint ticket.
Sunday 21st and Monday 22nd July – Sunday and Monday will feature the usual mix of both informative and participation lectures. Please note that the Phyllis Haylor Scholarship will take place on Sunday.
