This online masterclass is open to dance students and teachers according to the two categories below:
10:00 – 11:30 (GMT), 13-16 years: Warm-up, repertoire, creative task, Q&A
11:45 – 13:15 (GMT), 17+ years: Warm-up, repertoire, creative task, Q&A.
Participants can expect to develop a deeper understanding of Matthew Bourne’s creative process, improve their dance knowledge and performance skills, to be challenged and have fun learning and discovering something new.

Health and safety
Safe dance practice is paramount.
While there will be a warm-up at the beginning of the session, we advise participants to warm up before joining online in order to take part in a safe manner, which will not cause injury.
Participants are responsible for ensuring the area chosen to dance in is suitable and clear from any obstructions.
Appropriate dancewear/clothing should be worn to allow the participant to move comfortably. Suitable footwear should be worn dependent on floor type/covering.
Terms and conditions
One ticket must be purchased per participant.*
Multiple participants can join on one zoom call from one space, however, each participant must have purchased an individual ticket.
When joining the Zoom event, participants must ensure their user name matches the name of the participant registered for the event. If there is more than one participant on the Zoom call, all names should be included in the user name.
The participant must be clearly seen in view of the camera.
Participants under 18 years old must be supervised by an adult.
No other people should be seen in view of the camera. If another person is seen, the Society reserves the right to remove the participant from the event.
Anyone competing in this online masterclass does so at their own risk. The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing will not accept any responsibility for any injury howsoever caused.
Upon purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to the criteria set above and that you agree to adhere to health and safety regulations.
*The masterclass relies on a certain number of tickets being booked. If insufficient tickets are booked, this event may not be viable and in this case, ticket fees will be returned. If the event cannot take place, ticket bookers will be advised by email.
