The latest reports and diary dates from the Sequence Faculty

Sequence Medallists in Bournemouth

Sequence dancers both young and mature had a very happy and enjoyable day at the Hotel Piccadilly in Bournemouth on 4th December 2011.

The event was put on by the Sequence Faculty and organized by Terry Hunt. The afternoon was a great success with experienced and novice dancers of all ages taking to the floor to compete in solo competitions, couples events (a good opportunity for pupils to team up) and highly popular adult and child competitions. Barbara Harvey brought all attendees onto the floor for some fun dances too.

It was very encouraging to see new faces taking part for the first time in an ISTD competition in a welcoming atmosphere, and to see so many youngsters enjoying this style of dance. Many dancers brought members of their family to support them and see their best efforts.

Jill Bush, the Sequence Faculty Chairman, was Adjudicator on the day. I am sure this happy day of Sequence dancing will be in the calendar again this year.
