Faculty Vice Chairman Club Dance

Richard is one of the most versatile choreographers in the UK. His expert knowledge of a diverse range of dance styles, coupled with his exceptional musical and production skills, are always a signifi cant and valuable asset to each of the many and varied productions in which he has been involved. Having worked with stars such as Madonna, Kylie Minogue, George Michael, Diana Ross, Tom Jones and Alesha Dixon, Richard’s unique ability to create dance for stage and screen runs parallel with his continuing successes.

His choreography credits include So You Think You Can Dance, BBC; Let’s Dance…for Sport’s Relief, BBC; Strictly Come Dancing, BBC; Happy Birthday Brucie!, BBC; Burn The Floor,
International tour; Strictly Come Dancing, UK tour; Havana Club, European tour; Billy Elliot,
West End; Bounce, Sadlers Wells; Grease, Sweden; Copacabana, Athens, Greece; Salsa On The Street, London; Bond, Royal Albert Hall London and cabaret shows on board QE2 (Cunard) and Oriana (P&O).

Richard’s teaching credits include master classes at Bird Theatre College, Italia Conti, London; Performers College, The Centre – Performing Arts College, London; School of Musical Theatre; Tiffany Theatre College and various dance schools in the UK and abroad. He is Vice Chairman of the Club Dance Faculty and in 2005, Richard was presented with the ISTD Imperial Dance Sport Award.
