I have been dancing since I was 7 years old and come from a family who has brought me up with the ISTD. As a child I completed all my medals as well as competing on the open circuit representing England.
I turned professional at 22 and now have over 20 years of teaching experience and now run a successful dance school. Over the years I have trained many winners of the ISTD Grand Finals events. I hold a Fellowship in Ballroom and am currently working on the same qualification for Latin.
I was the very proud double winner of the Bill Irvine and Pierre Trophy in 2015, following in the footsteps of both of my parents. My father is an ISTD examiner and was himself on the Ballroom Committee for many years.
My future plans include being an examiner for the ISTD as well as being an active member of the Faculty to help maintain the society’s reputation and standing and to ensure that positive change is made where needed
