Teaching Vacancy Dance teacher required - Dalston, London
JYSDANCE is looking for an ISTD qualified- DDE / DDI or working towards either, in Imperial ballet and Modern theatre, to deliver dance classes at either of our locations at our London dance school, with either immediate/ 6 weeks, Or the following term start.
Our locations are in SE1, ten minute walk from London Bridge station, and N1, ten minute walk from Dalston Junction station.
Classes range from toddlers to adults in ballet and modern, and if the successful candidate has other genres in their repertoire , this is also something we could potentially add to the schools timetable. Street dance and Tap are two genres we would like to include in the schools repertoire.
A successful candidate would be able to coach the students confidently through set exam work in ballet vocational grades and modern, from Pre- primary upwards ( We currently go up to grade 4 in both ballet and modern).
Candidates must be skilled to Choreograph creative and interesting dances numbers for upcoming shows, and be available for at least 1 show rehearsal in the lead up, excluding show day.
Rates of pay between £26 - £30 dependant on qualifications
There are teaching hours available every day form 4pm - 6:30 - 7:30pm, and Saturday mornings until early afternoon, and for the right candidate, hours will be given to suit.

The Laura Henderson Dance Academy is looking for a qualified DDE ballet teacher (or working towards their LISTD status) to head up all our ballet classes, preparing students for exams and shows.
