Board of Trustees (The council)
The Board of Trustees is responsible for policy, and financial resilience and together with the Senior Leadership Team set the strategic direction for the Society. The Trustees are supported by two sub-committees: Finance and Audit Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
There are 12 Trustees and they are elected on rotation; one-third every three years. Trustee Council meetings take place quarterly, and these meetings are chaired by the Chair of the Trustees.
Senior Leadership Team
The Senior Leadership Team, headed up by Chief Executive Officer Ginny Brown, represents the directorates of the Society. This team brings expertise to the delivery of the organisations strategy, ensuring the goals of the Society are met.
Faculty Committees
The Faculty Committees are responsible for the development of their genres, through courses and syllabi updates, as well as various competitions, scholarship awards and other activities. Faculty Committees are elected by a ballot of their members every three years.

The Grand Council comprises celebrated dancers and education specialists; who advocate for the Society and the benefit of dance for all.
