What happens next?

You may be asked to provide further information throughout the approval process. It may take up to eight weeks to complete and confirm an outcome.

As the qualifications are genre-specific, approval is granted based on the genres the Approved Tutors are approved to deliver. Approved Dance Centres are required to deliver the Qualification in its full entirety which means learners should be able to complete all 5 units at the ADC.

If successful at the first stage of the approval process, your Centre will be selected for inspection. Shortly after the inspection meeting, the review of your application is almost complete.  The confirmation of approval/rejection will be notified in writing alongside a detailed ADC Feedback Report.

On receipt of the approval confirmation, new ADCs can start to register student teachers for the DDE in the ADC’s approved genre(s).  The delivery of the qualifications may commence once Approved Tutor(s) completed their mandatory tutor training. No training or assessment of student teachers must take place before this time.
