We offer a range of bursaries and funding opportunities to financially support our members, including funding to support projects that broaden access to dance and scholarships to support further training.

These awards below including Theatre Bursary Awards, Dancesport Bursary Awards and Phyllis Haylor Scholarship will not take place in 2026; however, they will be reviewed on an annual basis to assess future opportunities for recognition and support.
We are committed to making dance accessible to all. Through the Sue Passmore Award: Broadening Access to Dance, Society members can apply for funding to support innovative projects that increase participation in dance within their communities and contribute to our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion objectives.
Applications open on Monday 10 August at 12:00 BST.
Our Teacher Training Bursary Scheme benefits those wishing to become or progress as a Society trained teacher in any genre. To date, the scheme has financially supported the training of over 110 teachers from countries across the globe.
