If you've successfully completed the Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) and are looking to progress your dance teaching career, then the Level 6 Diploma in Dance Pedagogy (DDP) is the essential next step in your career as an Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing qualified teacher.

Our advanced teaching qualifications builds on the skills learnt in the initial teacher training qualifications and combines this with the knowledge and experience that come with practice as a teaching practitioner. We offer two internationally recognised qualifications; the Licentiate and Fellowship.

Accreditation of Prior Learning (APEL)

If you do not fulfil the entry requirements for the Level 6 Diploma in Dance Pedagogy, Licentiate or Fellowship but feel you have the required knowledge or experience, you can apply for APEL to access these qualifications. The Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) scheme takes account of your professional experience and unregulated qualifications to enable you to by-pass the usual requirements.
