Central London Centres

We will be holding London Centre examinations in the summer term at ISTD HQ and Central London venues between Saturday 16 May and Sunday 28 June.

To help us accommodate your exam request, please be as flexible as possible with your dates and provide us with least one alternative exam date on the application (if applicable for your genre).

Application process and timeline:

Please email ukdanceteachers@istd.org to request an application form, which must be completed and submitted to us by 15 April.
We will contact you regarding your allocated exam time/s by 22 April.
The payment deadline for all genres is 29 April

*ISTD HQ studio dimensions are 9.9m (length) x 7.95m (depth).

Once the timetable is confirmed and you have received the payment request email, you will have five working days to submit any change requests. Due to the complexity of scheduling, we may not be able to accommodate requests.
Please submit payment promptly as we cannot hold your booking once the payment deadline has passed.

Please note that London Centre and Regional Centres are only available to teachers who have less than 3 hours’ worth of examinations.

Once we have received your application it will be passed to the relevant Centre Organiser who will collate the timetable.
The closing date for entries are as follows:

We will contact you regarding your allocated exam time/s approximately four to six weeks before the examination dates.
Payment is due when the timetable is released

Application process and timeline:

Applications must be made through Quest by the closing dates above. Please calculate the days you require using the rules on exam timetable groupings.
To help us accommodate your request please be as flexible as possible and try to provide us with a minimum of 50% date availability within the advertised date range. If you require more than one day of exams, please list as many available consecutive dates as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee to accommodate requests with limited available dates listed.

All fees and timetables must be submitted no later than four weeks prior to the exam date(s).

Please submit payment promptly as we cannot hold your booking once the payment deadline has passed.

Tour Cancellations

Teachers who wish to cancel their examination date/s within the tour must inform UK Exams by emailing ukdanceteachers@istd.org within five working days of their exam date(s) being confirmed via Quest.

Please note that there is a £100 charge (per exam day) for cancellations made after 5 working days. Once a timetable has been submitted on Quest, candidates cannot be withdrawn or swapped for another. Refunds only apply as per policy rules.

If you wish to book exams outside of the tour dates, you will need to ensure that you have at least two days of exams in a single genre (or Modern with Tap). Please note that the dates must be consecutive, and the minimum daily fee must be met per day of exams you hold. Please contact us so that we can discuss options for your examinations.
