Can members still contribute to Dance?
Absolutely. Member contributions remain at the heart of the magazine. You can share ideas, stories, and feedback by emailing dancemag@istd.org
The editorial board, made up of faculty committee members, continues to guide content to ensure it reflects members’ voices and interests.
Is there a cost associated with accessing the digital magazine?
No, Dance remains free for ISTD members as part of their membership benefits.
What else is changing with the digital format?
In addition to the magazine, ISTD is launching tailored newsletters to deliver time-sensitive updates – such as syllabus changes, CPD opportunities, and faculty news – directly to members. These newsletters will complement the magazine, website, and social media channels, helping members stay informed year-round.
Will the digital magazine include the same content as before?
Yes. The digital version will continue to feature interviews, articles, member stories. The new format also allows for richer media, such as embedded videos, interactive links, and extended photo galleries.
Will the magazine still be published three times a year?
Yes, Dance will continue to be released in January, May, and September, maintaining its regular publishing schedule.
Will past issues be available online?
Yes, all previous issues will be available to download for members.
How can I ensure I receive the magazine and newsletters?
Make sure your email address is up to date in your ISTD member profile. You can update your details via the My ISTD portal or by contacting the membership team.
Is the digital magazine easy to share?
Yes! You can share articles with colleagues or friends with just a click – much easier than passing around a printed copy.
Will the digital format benefit international members?
Definitely. The new digital magazine is easier to use, more visually appealing, and ensures everyone receives the same version at the same time.
Will there be opportunities to advertise in the digital magazine?
