This application form is intended for teachers whose qualifications are not currently listed as automatically accepted on the ISTD website and who would therefore like their application to be reviewed by the ISTD panel on a case-by-case basis.

Please do not use this form if:

you are an ISTD-qualified teacher holding DDE, DDP, or Associate qualifications; or
your qualification is already listed as automatically accepted for ISTD Full Teaching Membership here: ISTD Recognised Qualifications for Full Teaching Membership

Subscription type

The following prices are for the 2026-27 annual membership cycle, ending 31 March 2027. Your next membership renewal will be on 1 April 2027.
A one-off enrolment fee of £15 applies for first time joiners.
Once your application has been reviewed by the panel, we will notify you of the appropriate rate for your membership. This takes on average 10 working days. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the Membership Team membership@istd.org
