ADVANCED TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS

We offer an internationally recognised range of higher qualifications to advance your dance teaching career including the Ofqual regulated Level 6 Diploma in Dance Pedagogy (DDP) and the Licentiate and Fellowship qualifications, two of our syllabus based higher qualifications.

REGULATED QUALIFICATION

Level 6 DDP

If you've successfully completed the Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) and are looking to progress your dance teaching career, then the Level 6 Diploma in Dance Pedagogy (DDP) is the essential next step in your career as an Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing qualified teacher.

NON REGULATED QUALIFICATIONS

Licentiate and Fellowship

Our advanced teaching qualifications builds on the skills learnt in the initial teacher training qualifications and combines this with the knowledge and experience that come with practice as a teaching practitioner. We offer two internationally recognised qualifications; the Licentiate and Fellowship.

Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)

If you do not fulfil the entry requirements for the Level 6 Diploma in Dance Pedagogy, Licentiate or Fellowship but feel you have the required knowledge or experience, you can apply for APEL to access this qualification. The Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) scheme takes account of your professional experience and unregulated qualifications to enable you to by-pass the usual requirements.
