This course will focus on good practice with students, understanding your safeguarding responsibilities within the dance studio whilst also reflecting on how you can protect and support yourself as a practitioner.

  • Be able to identify safeguarding best practice when delivering group and private lessons.
  • Be able to implement ‘studio’ management strategies that promote safety and positive behaviour.
  • Know how to respond to safeguarding disclosures responsibly when working as a freelancer.
