Join us for an inspiring CPD and networking day in Chester on Sunday 7 February

This day will offer a fantastic opportunity for both teachers and students.

Teachers will be able to connect with fellow dance teachers, receive the latest updates from ISTD, and strengthen our global dance community. Students will take part in workshops expertly designed by our lead lecturers and led by top ISTD teaching team.  Teachers will observe the student workshops, with a separate networking presentation taking place.

Tap Workshops

In these workshop we will explore “everything elevated” in tap - examining the technique, physicality, and vocabulary behind elevation. We’ll investigate how allegro and the use of the knees bridge tap with other dance genres, and how foundational training exercises evolve into syllabus work and beyond - building teachers and dancers confidence in presenting this essential aspect of tap dance.
