The ISTD is seeking nominations from eligible members to join the following Faculty Committees:
- Cecchetti Classical Ballet
- Disco/Freestyle/Rock 'n' Roll
Faculty Committees play an important role in supporting the development of their genres, helping to inform syllabus development, academic initiatives and member engagement activities. Serving on a committee provides an opportunity to contribute your expertise, collaborate with fellow professionals and represent the views of your faculty's membership.
Are you eligible?
Members holding a Licentiate or Fellowship qualification in the relevant faculty are eligible to stand for election.
Standing for election
If you would like to be considered for a Faculty Committee position, please complete the application form and submit:
- A recent headshot
- A short biography/manifesto (maximum 200 words)
- Your biography should outline your experience, interests and what you would like to contribute if elected.
Supporting your application
Candidates must also be nominated by:
- One proposer
- One seconder
- Both nominators must be Full or Life Members of the Society.
As the election process is being managed online, candidates should send the Nomination Form directly to their chosen proposer and seconder. Completed forms will be returned to the ISTD automatically.
Please note that if the number of candidates exceeds the available positions, an election will be held and members of the faculty will vote to determine the successful candidates.
